Petunia Liveoak has been an artist since high school, and enjoys using nature as her muse. Sometimes by taking photos to create her art, sometimes by bringing something in from outside, she typically uses watercolor, gouache, and is now exploring scratch board to make her artwork.
Petunia has a unique way of showing the details of one small item, usually presented in soft colors.
If you miss the Raglan Artwalk, Petunia also shows her artwork at Galleria Kakku and the Raglan Tree Gallery. For the show, you can view Petunia's artwork here.
Kath McGill has long been known in the Isle as a terrific and prolific artist. Kath states, "I think I've been in Artwalk now, well, since I became a merchant. and now, as the librarian, it's interesting to see what people like, and what they love. Sometimes its the color of the photo, sometimes its a memory that it evokes, sometimes its just- something to look at."
Kath is a multi-media artist, and uses photography, and paint and actually some string art in the paintings to make a combination of things. She plans to exhibit fifteen items in the show and sells it as modify/ copy.
You can view Kath's artwork in the show here.
Our players were Linn and Rejara. Of three rounds, two were ties and Linn won round two, making her the game winner.

A Citizen who has remained in good standing and active on the Isle of Wyrms sims for at least four weeks may inquire about Volunteer status by contacting a staff member. Not everyone who requests Volunteer status will get it....and not everybody who gets it has necessarily asked for it. Staff members are always on the lookout for helpful individuals who show good potential to become an IoW Volunteer, or more.
If you are granted Volunteer status, you will be paired with an experienced Staff member for training. Even if you already know a lot about the Isle of Wyrms, you will still need to go through an apprenticeship. Your trainer will dictate how long your apprenticeship will last.
Not only will your trainer assist you, but may also test your knowledge of the Isle of Wyrms. If you don't know the answers, don't worry - you can read up on the Wiki (http://www.archaeandesigns.com/draconica/Contents) and from the information notecards in Cathedral and Limbo.

We had five entries to our build contest and it was easy to see why many were relieved not to have to choose one over the other and declare the winners. Our judges, Kath, Cora and Toady had a tough job!
On the judged contest, our winners were Hammy and Taylor tied for first, Gracie was second and Jan was third.
On our popular vote, the winner was tied between Hammy and Jan
Thanks to everyone who put time and effort into the terrific builds!
While the contest was being judged, we opened up the gates to the taco races. A few crashed but overall everyone did a superb job of driving the not always easy to drive tacos.
The taco race winners were Linn in first place, Akay in second place and Jan in third place.
After much crunching of tacos, riding of tacos, building of tacos, trivia of tacos, we all concluded the party with a round of (what else?) river dancing!
Thanks to everyone who came out to participate. Also many thanks to the following IoW staff who made the party possible: snow, Kath, RayRay, Cora, and Toady.
Round 1: Annaa, Jan and Tea
Round 2: hammy Akay and Rejara
